What are the Quickest ways to lose belly fat?
You may have tried cardio, reducing calories, or even different types of workouts. Does nothing seem to work? if, that’s you. Today I will explain to you what you are doing wrong. Even some people try exercises for hours and eating less, but they can’t seem to lose weight, this can be a male or a female.
If you cant lose belly fat, you are using the wrong approach.
You don’t need endless sit-ups, supplements, starving yourself or worse surgery.
Belly fat is not just a problem because it can look bad.
In fact, having lots of fat in the abdominal area is strongly linked to diseases like type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
For this reason, losing belly fat has massive benefits for your health and can help you live longer.
Belly fat is usually estimated by measuring the circumference around your waist. This can easily be done at home with a simple tape measure.
Anything above 40 inches (102 cm) in men and 35 inches (88 cm) in women is known as abdominal obesity
Consuming less food doesn’t ideally means you can reduce belly fat. The main misconceptions that people have are reducing calories will make you lose belly fat. Does it actually?
The body needs a minimum of about 1,200 calories per day just to operate (organ function and breathing). If the body senses inadequate calories to support daily function it will switch into survival mode, considering it’s starving. One of its first acts of protection is to slow down the metabolism to burn through fewer calories. This stops you from losing weight.
Things To Do and Not Do when trying to lose belly fat.
when you want to lose belly fat the exercises, workouts don’t cut it all. The foods you eat will definitely influence your level of metabolism in your body.
Some common things that you should eliminate to lose belly fat are ; –
1. Avoid consumption of too much alcohol –
Alcohol ain’t that bad as it has health benefits in small amounts but in serious amounts, cant do more harm than good.
Recent research suggests that too much alcohol can also make you gain belly fat and the fat percentage around your belly fat and can cause obesity.
Cutting back on alcohol may help reduce your waist size. You don’t need to give it up altogether but limiting the amount you drink in a single day can help.
2. Avoid Sugary products and beverages-
Sugar contains Fructose which has been linked to several chronic diseases when consumed in excess.
These include heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and fatty liver disease.
Observational studies show a relationship between high sugar intake and increased abdominal fat.
It’s important to realize that more than just refined sugar can lead to belly fat gain. Even healthier sugars, such as honey, should be used sparingly.
3. Avoid stress level –
Stress levels can make your belly fat to increase by triggering the adrenal glands to produce cortisol, also known as the stress hormone.
In particularly women respond to stress more, producing more adrenal glands that produce cortisol that will increase belly fat.
So it is advised to reduce stress. Effective methods could be practicing Yoga, meditation or even some breathing practices.
Some ways you can reduce belly fat are;-
1. Eat more protein
Protein is the most important macronutrient when it comes to losing weight.
An increase in protein helps you increase the level of metabolism in your body by 80-100 calories per day this will reduce the number of calories you eat per day by 441.
If weight loss is your goal, then adding protein is perhaps the single most effective change you can make to your diet.
Not only will it help you lose, but it also helps you avoid re-gaining weight if you ever decide to abandon your weight loss efforts.
Exercise is one vital thing in life. It helps prevent most of the diseases you face is among the best things you can do if you want to live a long, healthy life and avoid disease.
Listing all of the benefits of exercise will take me beyond the scope of this article, but exercise does not support the reduction of belly fat.
However, keep in mind that abdominal exercises are very ineffective when it comes to the reduction of belly fat. Also to keep in mind that spot reduction such as belly fat reduction is also not quite possible, and doing endless amounts of ab exercises will not make your belly disappear.
That being mention other types of exercises such as cardio, aerobics combined eating right(more protein, lower stress levels) can support the reduction of overall fat percentage in the body, not just belly fat. But not Belly fat specifically.
As always nothing worth having comes easy, you have to put in the work with proper planning. But if you follow the methods as I mentioned I can assure you you will not just have short term achievements but have a long term effect, which creates a better healthier lifestyle for you.
Remember you might have struggled with weight loss for a prolonged time now, but its time that you actually change your methods of living and start living a better life. The advantages of a healthier lifestyle are priceless to any person. Many people suffer from obesity, chronic diseases, heart attacks, all due to a major contributing factor to unhealthy weight and fat percentage that creates blood sugar or even cholesterol.
Best luck on your weight loss goals, remember a better lifestyle means better tomorrow.
